Lighting Photography

This is an image of James using the 3 point light set up which has an extension socket plug that has a limited 3200 watts.  These lights are called Arri 300 and it is a 300 watt lamp. It has 3 lights of varying wattage. These 3 lights are called Fill( side light ),Key( Front Light ) and Rim light( back light). For this image no. 1 it creates a contrast between the light and the dark.  For image no.2 it's lighter than image no.1 and I like how it casts a slightly smaller shadow behind James. Image no.3 ihas a darker feel about it and thats due to the fact that the backlighting is darker and the main source of light is coming from the left hand side of the picture. It's highlighting half of my face making the image contrast between light and dark, creating a very two sided character who has a split personality. Image no.4 is very much the same as image no.2. They share the same kind of lighting and creates a similar kind of effect.
